Ray Charles-Sinner's Prayer |
|
The last song that Ray Charles was set to release was a duet with B.B. King. A blues track combined the guitar and the piano in a reminiscent way. The song, "Sinner's Prayer" was ultimately a repent to God for the sins they have committed in their lives. Deeply emotional and real, the song was set to be released on Charles' final album, "Genius Love Company". However before the two got to perform it again, Charles passed away from complications of acute liver disease. His record company anticipated that that album would have bought him straight to Number One.
