Many claim the PR stint of releasing both this song (the first in a decade) as well as his notebooks and diaries was a way to make money off of the legendary Seattle rocker's suicidal death. The song highlights the transitional period both Cobain and his band were working on committing to. Who knows what direction Nirvana would have taken if Cobain would have lived past the age of 27.
